The g-Eclipse project consists of seven work packages (WP). The technical developments are done in the Work packages 1, 2, 3 and 4., while the organisational und collaborational tasks of the projects are executed by workpackage 5, 6 and 7.
Work package 1 takes care about the general g-Eclipse architecture and the integration of the different technical developments into the framework. The quality of the project results will be check in the work package too.
Work package 2 develops the tools to support Grid users in their daily work.
Work package 3 addresses the needs of Grid operators.
Work package 4 build a framework to ease the development of Grid application by developing tools for deployment, remote debugging, application monitoring, etc.
Workpackage 5 disseminates the projects results and studies the possiblities of exploitation.
Work package 6 contributes to the collaboration efforts initiated by the European Union.
Work package 7 takes care of the general administrative work of the project.
